Windows Vista or Windows 7 64-Bit Update 1. Insert DVD 3 of the Arbitration set into your DVD drive. (If you have multiple DVD drives, make sure that DVD 3 is in your first DVD drive. For example, if you have two DVD drives, say drive F: and G:, place the DVD in drive F:.) Many times machines are set to show you the contents of the DVD or ask if you want to run some type of program. Just close any browse window that may appear after you put the DVD in the drive. 2. Find the file called ARBWIN7.exe, which you downloaded from the NALC web site and run it either by double clicking on the file or by using the run menu (if, for example you placed the file in C:\Downloads, you could run the file by left clicking on the Start button, the click on "Run" from the menu, and type in C:\Downloads\ArbWin7). 3. If the program asks you if you wish to create an Arb2003 folder, say Yes. When this process completes you will have a fully functioning Arbitration program. 4. IF you do not have a shortcut to the arb2003.exe on your desktop and want one, place your mouse pointer in an empty space on your desktop, then right click and select new from the menu, and then shortcut. Navigate to arb2003.exe in the Arb2003 folder and create the shortcut. If you want to have all the pdf files on your hard drive, start the arbitration program and select the configure menu. You can then install the files using the configuration screen. 5. If you have previously installed the 2006 DVD you will need to run Refresh64.exe program found in the Arb2003 folder to fully update your system. You will be asked if you have previously put all the pdf files for the awards on your hard drive during the update. Only say yes, if you have previously done so. Any shorcut that previously was associated with the Arb2003 program will still function. If you don't have a shortcut and want to have one, follow the instructions in step 4 above.
