is provided by our preferred provider organization (PPO)—Coventry Health Care. Their professional nursing staff
will refer patients to appropriate levels of care and help locate network providers.

The Healthwise®
Knowledgebase is a resource tool for information about illnesses,
medications, medical tests and specific medical conditions. The
site offers over 5,000 medical topics for you to choose from.
This resource tool
allows you to compare Coventry Health Care PPO hospitals
by diagnosis or procedure. The tool compares network hospitals
in a designated area based on statistics such as number of patients
treated per year, costs and average length of stay. This information
will allow you to make informed health care decisions. NOTE: This tool is provided for the use of NALC Health Benefit Plan members only.
