CaremarkDirect Program

We are pleased to offer members the CaremarkDirect Program that supports convenient access to competitively priced over-the-counter (OTC) medications, as well as prescription lifestyle drugs that are not covered by the Plan, (i.e., prescriptions used to treat hair loss or obesity).

CaremarkDirect is a value-added program that supports effective drug trend management by providing members with safe, convenient access to non-covered prescriptions and certain OTC's.

Program benefits for members include:

• Non-covered items can be received directly by mail
• Products can be ordered along with covered mail services prescriptions
• All member prescriptions (covered and non-covered) are checked for safety and drug interactions
• Orders are mailed with non-descript labeling to ensure confidentiality
• Orders are delivered to members' homes and can be refilled online or by using Caremark's automated telephone service
• NALC Customer Care Representatives are ready to answer any questions
