Moratorium
During Convention Period
For Grievance/Arbitration Processing
|
| |
|
A moratorium will be in effect from
July 12 through August 13 during the NALC Convention period
for the processing of grievances at Steps A and B and on

an agreement with the Postal Service.
USPS Manager for Labor Relations Policies
and Programs Doug A. Tulino advised NALC of the Service's
agreement in a June 24 letter to Executive Vice President
Jim Williams.
"The time limits for
the filing of informal Step A grievances and for appealing
grievances to formal Step A, Step B, and arbitration,
at both the area and national level, will be extended
by thirty-three (33) days from July 12 through August
13," Tulino said.
