Arrest made in explosive devices sent through the mail; don’t let guard down

It was reported today that a suspect has been arrested in connection with explosive packages sent through the Postal Service, even as at least two more potential devices were found in the mail stream this morning.

“Letter carriers should stay vigilant,” NALC President Fredric Rolando said. “Don’t let your guard down because an arrest has been made. The threat remains of more devices in the mail stream and the possibility exists of others copying these horrible crimes. Make sure you always stay alert, remember the warning signs and follow the protocols for any suspicious package.”
