NALC Secretary-Treasurer Nicole Rhine reminds delegates to NALC’s 70th Biennial Convention in Los Angeles that the registration procedure at this year’s national convention will be different from past conventions.
As was reported in the Convention Call sent to all branches and state associations last fall, all delegates to the national convention will be required to register individually.
At registration, each delegate must have:
- their delegate credential card signed by both the president and the secretary of the branch, and
- a photo ID.
Delegate-at-large credential cards must be signed by the state president and state secretary and must be presented along with a photo ID at registration.
Registration of delegates will be held in the South Lobby of the Los Angeles Convention Center on Saturday, Aug. 13 from noon to 5 p.m.; Sunday, Aug. 14 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 15 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. After the registration area closes on Monday, registration of delegates will move to the NALC headquarters office at the convention center, resuming at noon.
