Aurora Post Office named in honor of former letter carrier (The Beacon News)

NALC President Fredric Rolando joined Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), Rep. Bill Foster (D-11th) and Aurora, IL Mayor Tom Weisner on Oct. 12 for the official ceremony naming the Aurora post office in honor of the late Ken Christy, the long-serving president of the Illinois Association of Letter Carriers and a member of Aurora Branch 219 who died on March 26. Aurora’s The Beacon News ran a story about the ceremony.
