Today, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi appointed Freshman Reps. Katie Porter (D-CA) and Deb Haaland (D-NM) to the House Oversight and Reform Committee following the recommendation of the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee.

Reps. Porter and Haaland’s appointment comes following the passing of the late Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-MD) and the resignation of Vice-Chair Katie Hill (D-CA).
