Branch 450 gold card member passes away from coronavirus

NALC is deeply saddened to have recently been informed that 89-year-old retired letter carrier and NALC gold card member Robert Moe, a member of Branch 450 in Bellingham, WA, died on Friday, March 20, from complications related to COVID-19. Brother Moe began his 30-year career with the Postal Service in 1956. In 1987, he was the recipient of the Washington State Outstanding Letter Carrier Award. At the time of his death, he had been an NALC member for over 64 years.

"The entire NALC grieves the loss of Brother Moe," NALC President Fredric Rolando said. "Our sincere condolences and heartfelt prayers go out to his family, friends, co-workers and loved ones.”
