Doug Tulino Appointed Deputy Postmaster General

Postmaster General Louis DeJoy has announced the appointment of Douglas A. Tulino to the position of Deputy Postmaster General. Tulino is a 40-year veteran of the USPS who is well known and well-respected in the NALC, having been involved with our collective bargaining for many years. He previously served as Vice President for Labor Relations and, most recently, as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). As DPMG, Tulino will continue in his role as CHRO and will oversee Labor Relations, Humans Resource Management, Organizational Development, Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development, Recruiting and Hiring and HR Technology. He will also serve on the Postal Service’s Board of Governors.

President Rolando offered his best wishes to Tulino on his elevation to the second highest executive officer position in the Postal Service:

“NALC congratulates Doug Tulino on his appointment as Deputy PMG. He has had a stellar career as a postal executive and has worked closely with us to strengthen the agency, both at the collective bargaining table and in other labor relations activities. His broad experience and many talents will also be valuable in his new role on the Board of Governors. We look forward to working with DPMG Tulino in the months and years ahead to help ensure that the Postal Service thrives for decades to come.”
