Pasadena, TX letter carrier passes away

NALC is deeply saddened to learn that 69-year-old letter carrier Johnny Tamayo, a member of Branch 3867 in Pasadena, TX, passed away Saturday, April 4, from complications related to coronavirus. Brother Tamayo worked at the Delbert L. Atkinson Station of the Pasadena Post Office. Last May, he celebrated his 50-year anniversary as a letter carrier.

"On behalf of the NALC, we mourn the loss of Brother Tamayo," NALC President Fredric Rolando said. "He spent his entire adult life serving this nation as a letter carrier. We send our deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers to Johnny's family, loved ones, friends, co-workers, and customers.“
