As presidential elections continue to become dramatically and increasingly expensive, presidential candidates are relying more and more on advocacy organizations to invest in the success of their campaigns.
The same also is true for Congress, where the cost of running for a House of Representatives seat also has skyrocketed, as has the price for winning a Senate seat.
What does this mean? A PAC is an invaluable tool. In fact, candidates who are able to raise the most money are the most likely to win their elections.
For example, during the 2014 general elections, 94 percent of the biggest House spenders won their elections, as did 82 percent of the biggest Senate race spenders.
The same is true for the presidency.
