Economics Blog: Federal Reserve increases target interest rates

Update on Trump executive orders attacking federal employees
NALC's analysis has concluded that the three executive orders do not apply to the Postal Service or its unions, a conclusion that was confirmed in writing by officials of the Office of Personnel Management.

A soaring federal deficit spells danger for letter carriers
On April 17, the Congressional Budget Office issued its latest budget outlook. It found that the federal budget deficit is exploding, thanks mostly to the 2017 tax cut, but also due to the 2018 spending bill adopted earlier this year.
